Caught Red Handed

Today is the sames as yesterday, i was working in the morning shift.
oh, by the way, tell u all bout myself a bit, i'm jannie jane, u can call me Jane or Jannie...
i'm working in retail line, a shop called "Shopalot". i'm the exec there.
So, today is a Sunday. Everything seems so normal, custermers coming in and out.
Its a busy day, but still its almost the same as everyday.

At about noon, bout 2pm, something just happened....
One of my counter's promoter came to me: " Jane, i think some of our stuff hv been stolen!"
My mind was blank a moment, not knowing wat to do.
then i tell myself don panic, and i told them to think over which custermers were around at the time, and next my staffs when searching all over the mall for that girl....

i think its about half an hour only i see them back.....
On my supervisor's hand there's a black plastic bag, and behind her was one of our promoters and the thief......
The 1st moment i saw that girl,no, its not a girl, its a women,
it seems something wrong with her....i mean like mentally problem....
i found out she is already 31, not working, came shopping with her father....
she stole about rm400 over of accessories, i should be mad, but in a way, i felt pitiful for this women.
after i called her father, the father came to the shop, he does not look well off, just a very simple old man. When i told him that he has to pay all those things, i felt sadness and worried from the expression from his face....

i felt so pity for him, after i talk to him a while, i only know that, its real, her daughter got some mental problem.
its already cured, but its the 1st time she has stolen anything.
he was talking to me as tear drops rolls down his cheeks.
He is not sad that he had to pay money for those things, he is sad cause his daughter is sick.
And he can't do anything to help her....

Sometimes life is like that, our parents care a great deal about us....
For this old man, he is a bit unlucky, he is about 70 years old, he still can't get happiness from his daughter, but worse until this old age, he still have to take care of his sick child.

In my mind, "wat can i do to help? i can't take his money, his daughter is sick!"
At last, i told the old man " Uncle, you don hv to pay for the things, we understand your situation, next time, you just take better care of your daughter."

then they left the shop.....
today, its was an unforgetable day....
