TGIF! Today its a casual day at work, it is the most relaxing work day for me. Xiao Lan drop by after class to grab some lunch. Since I'm working in SS15, i don't really wana go so far for lunch, so we headed to Sunway Mentari for some yummy japanese food.

Nihonkai is located in Dataran Mentari, near the place where all the famous steamboat are located. I've been here once for dinner, now is my second time here for lunch.

I reach there around one and to my surprise it is quite packed. A lot of office workers went there to have lunch too.

 The set lunch and set dinner is almost the same, set dinner have an extra chawanmushi extra charge of rm4. There is a variety of choices for set dishes and affordable too.

Always obsessed with icy cold green tea, actually she is obsessed with all kinds of non sweet drinks with lots of ice. She is a bit of a health freak and fitness freak. wahahhaha.

That is me with my casual floral dress of the day. i have this fetish for floral dresses. I have like tons of them, Xiao Lan always say they look all the same to her, for me each and everyone of them are different.=) LOL

We ordered the same set, Torikatsunabe and Shashimi. RM21

When ever I go to a Japanese restaurent, i would surely try their Macha Red Bean.  RM6

Overall i would rate this place good and affordable. Great portion of shashimi. If you do not want to spend a lot of money for lunch and wana have Japanese food, i would recon this place!

Rating: Yummy & Afordable, will come back again =) 8/10

Porky Night@ S.Wine Cafe

Last weekend i went grocery shopping with Xiao Lan ( Little Blue), she have been telling me about this special grocery place for quite some time, that i would definitely LOVE it. So we headed to BIG: Ben Independent Grocer at Publika.

I'll write another post about my wonderful grocery shopping experience in BIG=) So, let us come back and talk about the main point. So, halfway while we were shopping, we realize there is a few restaurants in BIG itself, and we were seriously feeling hungry. Then i saw this poster below.

  

S. Wine Deli, with a picture of a PIG=) Its located at the non halal area. I'm not quite sure i sure the front or the back door to the restaurant, but it is just next to the place where u can find all sorts of TU BAK (pork)!

 

So this is the entrance of the restaurant. I still do think this is the main one.=) Since the name is S.Wine, of course it only sells Pork. Seems like lately I've been eating a lot of pork.

Ordering time=) I'm so hungry i can eat the whole PIG....lol 

There are a veriety of choices to chooce from, there is breakfast, to sandwiches, salads, to pastas, and the main could be from western, Mexican and even a twist of Chinese cuisine.

Nice design of the menu right? Loving it!

At 1st we wanted to order Sloppy Pig Burger with Mexicana Pulled Pork, too bad it's sold out, so we ordered BBQ Chorizo Cheeseburger with Bacon.

Close up picture of the burger. I quite like this one, but i feel the portion of the burger it's a bit small compared to TGIF or Chillies, but for money wise, it's still worth the price. It has 2 strips of bacon, cheese and the juicy burger patty. It has a sweet taste, actually taste a bit like char siew(Chinese barbecued pork)

 I ordered this, forgot what's the name, its creamy sauce pork chops, all i can describe it. I feel one of the pork its a bit too well done, but the other 2 pieces is just right. combines together with the mash potato with some kind of grated vege, the sause is creamy yet has a bit sourish taste. This meal is just so yummy. Just it lack a bit of colors as it looks a bit pale.

I have always wanted to try out pork sausages, i ordered the garlic sausages. For me this is way too porky. Not really my type of sausage. Both of us cant even finish this one.

Overall, I am still satisfied with my porky meal. Thumbs up!

Rating: Worth a try, might come back again=) 7/10

iPhone pouch

Few weeks ago i just bought a deal from HULALA. Today it has finally arrived.

This is how the parcel looks like. I always have this exiting feeling when i received a parcel, it's like i am back to like i am 5, opening Christmas presents during the Christmas morning. i know i am a bit exaggerating now. LOL.

I bought 2 for the price of one. Super affordable and i feel it's a good buy. 2 for only RM27.90

There is 8 colours to choose from and i have chosen these 2. The brown for me and blue for Xiao Lan=) The final product that i got looks exactly with the picture i saw in the deal page.

Inside there is 4 compartments for cards and to keep money too. I love it, and now my phone is fully protected.
